A global mental health nonprofit built around one idea: support should be reachable.
Mental Help Foundation works where mental health actually lives — in homes, communities, schools, workplaces and places of worship. We create understanding, connect people with trained human support, help remove the pressures that make recovery impossible, and link people to the services they need.
We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone.

Every program operates across the whole Foundation network — Mental Help America, Mental Help Africa and all five African country branches. Local delivery is adapted to language, culture and law.

A person may enter through any program. Whichever door they use, the rest of the ecosystem is designed to connect them onward — with their consent, and at their pace.
Understanding comes first
My Mental Health helps someone recognise what they are experiencing and learn that support exists.
Then a real person
An AngelMind listens without judgment and helps identify the safest next step — with AngelMinds Academy standing behind every supporter's training.
Then the barriers
Strangers Care addresses hunger, hardship, housing and safety, and HelpMe2 supports substance use and recovery, so care becomes reachable.
Then the services
BridgeMinds Alliance partners provide protection, clinical, legal, housing and recovery support as one joined-up pathway.
And continuity
MindFru gives professionals the tools to track outcomes and hold continuity of care over time.

We would rather say clearly what we cannot do than promise something we cannot deliver safely.
Safeguarding first
Protection of children, survivors, people in crisis, displaced communities, volunteers and staff is a condition of every program, in every branch.
Trained and supervised support
Every AngelMind is trained, certified and supervised through AngelMinds Academy before a single supportive conversation — and their non-clinical boundaries are explicit.
Accountable use of funds
Funds are held under restricted-fund controls with vendor evidence, reconciliation and reporting. Campaign approval is separate from program delivery.
Honest reporting
We report outcomes rather than vanity metrics — including where a referral failed and why. Consent to receive support is always separate from consent to be featured.
