What your donation provides

Practical help is psychosocial help

Safety, food, shelter, transport and social connection can reduce stress and restore agency. Your gift funds the step that makes care reachable.

  • Access to mental health and substance use resources, and connection to care
  • Verified Strangers Care responses to hunger, displacement, violence and hardship
  • Support groups and community education for people struggling in silence
  • Training and supervision for AngelMinds and mental health first responders
  • A safe platform for voices to be heard and stories to be shared with consent

Mental Help Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 99-1899885). Donations are processed by Donorbox; please confirm deductibility for your own jurisdiction.

Donor trust

What we commit to, every time

We will grow without exploiting pain. We will ask for support with clarity, show how resources are used and report honestly.

Verified need

Every Strangers Care case is verified through documented, safe sources before any public appeal is made. Where fraud or security risk is elevated, we verify through multiple sources.

A specific plan

Each campaign publishes what the funds are for, who is responsible for delivery and what closure looks like — before it opens.

Reconciliation

Funds are held under restricted-fund controls with vendor evidence, reconciliation and reporting. Campaign approval and financial control are separate from program delivery.

Dignified storytelling

Consent to receive support is separate from consent to be featured. We do not publish location, movement or identifying details that could create retaliation.

Honest reporting

We report outcomes, not views, events, donations or people trained — including where a referral failed and why.

No stigma as leverage

We refuse to use addiction stigma, shock or humiliation as a fundraising device.

Together, we heal

Every donation brings us closer to a world where mental health is prioritised and supported.
